There is no specific answer to this question. The duration of each surgery depends on many factors. Cubic meters of the environment to be treated, geometric characteristics of the space, thermal insulation of the windows are the three main variables. Once you have reached 50° in the environment, we recommend continuing the treatment for at least 3 hours. Since the spread of heat in typical hiding places (electrical outlets, plinths, bed structures) cannot be guaranteed in terms of time, for the most important infestations, we recommend continuing the treatment for as long as possible.
The machine has a temperature limit of 60°. These temperatures, for limited periods, are not harmful to animals and people. Obviously, the prescription is to carry out the treatment with the room empty and prohibiting access during the treatment.
Yes, some objects or materials at temperatures between 50° and 60° may be damaged. The advice is to take out of the treated environment all electronic products (television, remote controls, telephones, chargers) and all ornaments, paintings, prints and valuable artifacts. If there is a suspicion that these objects are affected by the infestation, it is necessary to consult an expert to determine what to do.
The ZBB-13 model requires a three-phase 400V 32A four-pole socket (alternatively, with a simple adapter, a five-pole socket can also be used). The machine has a power output of 13 kW. If a three-phase power supply is not available, the machine can be operated using a suitable diesel or gas generator.
For locations where a three-phase power supply is not available, the ZBB-5.5/13 model offers greater flexibility. It can operate on a standard 220V single-phase power supply with a power output of 5.5 kW, making it suitable for environments where industrial electrical connections are not accessible. Both models use the same heat treatment technology and are equally effective in eliminating bed bug infestations.
